As usual, I was using the "classic" consolle command:
load convert -u mail\cdaloisi.nsf * mail8.ntf
Suddenly a colleague of mine told:
"Do you know there's a new option to replace a mail template AND also upgrade all folders, just using using a new R8 Notes client?"

That's a useful tip. What we do in eProductivity for Notes (a replacement template to implement GTD in Notes) is we set a flag OnOpen. Then, if we detect that the template has been modified but the folders have not, we automatically prompt the user and do it for them in the background.
